KRSM Radio has a variety of volunteer opportunities of different lengths. Please consider making yourself available to help advance our Southside Media Project.
Volunteer hours are flexible! Anyone can volunteer!
DAILY ACTIVITIES:
- Update social media
- Visit the studio to take pictures
- File out a graphic each morning about the day’s schedule
- Check in with hosts about special plans for each week
- Check in with station manager about upcoming events or specials
- Listen to a show or two each week to identify snippets we can use for promotional material
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:
- Record and edit promotional material for various upcoming events and shows
- Uploading our recorded shows to Soundcloud and Mixcloud
- Record live events
- Track our growth:
- Social media follows
- Volunteers
- Volunteer demographics
- Listeners
REGULAR ACTIVITIES:
- Oversee public service announcements:
- Outreach to local organizations
- Coordinate recordings
- Record PSA’s
- Edit PSA’s
