KRSM’s Youth Media Internship offers Minneapolis high school students the chance to host their own weekly radio show live on-air, picking up various technical and production skills as time goes on. The interns work with KRSM staff to explore what they enjoy within the world of broadcast media, and they are given field trip opportunities to see how the skills they are acquiring can apply to the Twin Cities media landscape. At the end of each internship season, the group puts together a showcase project showing off what they learned.
